Does your child seek to jump, tumble and move like a ninja?  Ninja Skills for the Youthful Soul is a martial arts class taught with an occupational therapy perspective.  It is best suited for those who show interest in martial arts but need more flexibility and an unrestricted athletic expression of their soul.  Students learn at their own pace and are encouraged to show their own style of martial arts with guidance from the occupational therapist.  There is no status and ranking of belts as Bruce Lee once said “Belts are only good for holding up your pants”.

Skills this group will focus on:

  • Social Participation
  • Self Esteem and Confidence
  • Breathing techniques
  • Body and Spatial Awareness
  • Motor Planning and Hand Eye Coordination

Children and parents will meet with therapist prior to starting class to ensure it will be the right fit for the child and group.
