Ninja Skills for the Youthful Soul

This occupational therapy group is held for 9 sessions seasonally (Fall, Winter and Spring). Interested candidates must be screened prior to joining for successful group dynamic. This group is for 9 years of age and older. No more than 4 clients in the group. Medical code provided on your invoice to submit for insurance reimbursement. Schedule will be determined by the availability of occupational therapists and participants.


Ninja Skills for the Youthful Soul is a martial arts class taught with an occupational therapy perspective. It is best suited for those who show interest in martial arts but need more flexibility and an unrestricted athletic expression of their soul. Students learn at their own pace and are encouraged to show their own style of martial arts with guidance from the occupational therapist. There is no status and ranking of belts as Bruce Lee once said “Belts are only good for holding up your pants”.


Skills this group will focus on:

  • Social Participation
  • Self Esteem and Confidence
  • Breathing techniques
  • Body and Spatial Awareness
  • Motor Planning and Hand Eye Coordination
  • Muscle Strengthening and Endurance



Children and parents will meet with therapist prior to starting class to ensure it will be the right fit for the child and group.

InPre-K

InPre-K, is an inclusive preschool program that supports kinder readiness for children of all abilities. InPre-K is designed from an occupational therapist’s perspective, to expand on your child’s current strengths in order to foster their development and support readiness for school.


Occupational therapists recognize that school readiness means more than academic learning! Therefore, we include a broader range of underlying skills during every visit, including:
